Lacrosse

The Epic Center’s lacrosse program is the best in Upstate New York. Teams from all over the area come to compete at this premier facility.

Men’s and women's lacrosse is offered in the fall and winter. Women's teams compete on our second open field; men's teams play on the boarded field.

Men’s games are usually on Thursdays and Fridays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

In winter, women’s games are usually on Sundays and Mondays from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. In summer, they’re on Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

  • Equipment:
    • Mouth guards are mandatory.
    • Goalies must wear full equipment.
    • Protective eyewear is recommended.

  • Regulations:
    • There are 10 to 18 players per team.
    • For women’s games, seven play on the field at once.
    • For men’s games, six play on the field at once.
    • There are two 22 minute halves.
    • Players must be enrolled in grades 8 through 12 (men's)
    • Players must be enrolled in grades 6 through 12 (women's)
    • There must be an adult coach (over 21 years old).
    • Players’ passes are required - $10.00 - photo ID is needed.

For men’s lacrosse, teams pay referee fees ($22.00 per team) directly to the referee before each game. $44.00 is paid up front and goes toward the referee fees for the final two games or any forfeits. A deposit of $200.00 or payment in full must accompany the team registration form. If a team forfeits its game, it is responsible for all referee fees.

For women’s lacrosse, teams pay all referee fees up front ($12.00 per team). A deposit of $200.00 or payment in full must accompany the team registration form. If a team forfeits its game, it is responsible for all referee fees.

Rescheduling must be done within the first two weeks of the session. Any rescheduling done after the second week must be approved by the owner and a $20.00 administration fee must be paid.
